Women and wine alike

Men's counter for that passage may well be: "Women are like fine wine. They all start out fresh, fruity and intoxicating to the mind and then turn full-bodied with age until they go all sour and vinegary and give you a headache."

It implies that women should look for appreciative wine tasters while yet young! Ouch. It's blatant truth. Waiting is too passive, so we should start praying. Bleah.

Whilst wine searchers grab fast, wine tasters go for quality. Advice from experts: think beyond cabernet. Big-name popular wines and varietals — merlot, cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay — are usually more expensive, but not necessarily better. For the best deals, branch out. Try a Spanish rioja or albarino, an Indian sauvignon blanc, or a California pinot blanc.

Let's stay tuned for the wine-tasting (read: match-making) session our Pastor has painstakingly put together. The venture for flavor and savor will be worth the while.
